Maintenance Manager

Zenon are seeking a highly experienced Maintenance Manager to lead our clients Aircraft Engineering section. This role is integral to ensuring the continuing airworthiness of our fleet and involves the management of staff, equipment, and resources. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in aircraft maintenance, with at least 10 years in the field and 5 years in a senior management role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Aircraft Engineering section to meet all airworthiness requirements.
• Ensure maintenance facilities and equipment meet required standards.
• Supervise and monitor standards of workmanship to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Plan and coordinate all contracted maintenance to ensure aircraft availability.
• Manage and improve maintenance programs for cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
• Oversee on-the-job training for maintenance staff to ensure continuous improvement.
• Develop and control the company’s Safety Management System.
• Ensure accurate and timely production planning to minimize costly downtime.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in an aircraft maintenance environment, with 5 years at a senior management level.
• Extensive knowledge of Safety Management Systems.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize work streams and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Excellent technical judgment and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient in maintenance software and Microsoft Office programs.
• Valid B1.2 Maintenance Licence.
